Lobamba Village Tour | 1/2 Day

Join this 1/2 day walking tour through one of the oldest and most famous villages in Eswatini (formally Swaziland). You’ll start off with an introduction to Swazi history at the National Museum then skirt pas the King’s Royal Residence, before exploring homes (you get to see everyday-life of Swazi citizens, not staged), small scale unique businesses and local art gallery. The whole way you’ll be guided by an experienced local guide and to end off you’ll have a traditional Swazi BBQ lunch at the market. This is the best way to learn about the way Swazi people live today and it’s a fantastic cultural experience full of fun!

Lobamba Village is one of the most famous and iconic residential villages and a guided tour is a must for those looking to gain an insight into Swazi culture and history. The Lobamba area, in general, is Eswatini’s cultural capital and is the home of eLudzidzini, the Kings traditional Royal Residence as well as the annual Reed Dance and Incwala Ceremonies.
