UPDATE: Corona Virus

The South African Government issued a statement last night confirming a travel ban for foreign nationals from countries severely affected by the outbreak – Italy, Iraq, South Korea, Spain, Germany, United States, United Kingdom and China – from 18 March 2020. In the Kingdom of Eswatini, the government is closing schools and banning large gatherings in the next week to reduce risks of the Pandemic in the country. The Mozambican Government has issued travel restrictions of imposed 2 week quarantine in Mozambique for travellers from countries with over 100 positive cases.

In light of these restrictions being imposed by the governments of the countries we work in, as well as travel restrictions being imposed in countries from which our participants originate we are in a situation where we feel it is our duty as a responsible travel organisation to postpone experiences and activities as All Out Africa for April 2020 and May 2020. We hope June 2020 will be the turnaround month for southern Africa due to the early isolation and social distancing implementation and that we may be in a position to accept arrivals for June onwards.

Regarding the participants currently on projects, we will be advising them that as a result of the travel restrictions and in anticipation of resulting travel difficulties and being a region with a poorly developed health services infrastructure, it is in their best interest to return home and should they choose this now we will be offering to hold in credit the balance of their experience to later in the year.

With your assistance and collaboration, for the well-being of our clients, communities and countries, we are doing all we can to limit the spread of this Pandemic. We remain open for business but need to postpone arrivals till after this period when the situation will hopefully be under control.
