Lobamba Village is one of the most famous and iconic residential villages and a guided tour is a must for those looking to gain an insight into Swazi culture and history. The Lobamba area, in general, is Eswatini’s cultural capital and is the home of eLudzidzini, the Kings traditional Royal Residence as well as the annual Reed Dance and Incwala Ceremonies.

1/2 Day

This tour departs daily from Malandelas complex or Ezulwini (Lidwala Lodge).

You’ll take public transport to Lobamba then will walk, guided, to the museum, Royal Residence, village, and bus rank for a meal before taking public transport back to Lidwala Lodge.

The whole tour takes about 3.5 hours but the time does vary depending on the group size.
