NEW Kruger to Cape Route!
Have a craving to explore, but don’t have a lot of time? All Out Africa, has taken our Kruger to Cape Volunteer Adventure and made it even better! This 8 week The Kruger to Cape Volunteer Expedition will take you through some of the best that southern Africa has to offer in terms of wildlife, culture, beaches, sights and scenery.
Your adventure will begin in The Kingdom of Swaziland, where you will have just enough time to be astounded by the rolling mountain views, and make a few new friends, before you are whisked off on your first tour to Kruger National Park in South Africa. Here, you will join a 5 day camping safari to spot big game and experience the wild side of Africa!
When you return to Swaziland, with a few great campfire stories under your belt, it will be time to get down to business. Spend the next 2 weeks working in the rural communities and learn more about Swazi culture. These grass root projects will give you a new perspective, no ordinary tourist could have, and your sure to make a lot of new pint-sized friends at our Neighborhood Care Points.
At the end of your first month, a healthy reward for hard-work awaits in the form of a week long holiday on the sandy beaches of Mozambique. Tofo, a coastal paradise, is the perfect place to unwind, relax and soak up some sun. But don’t get too comfortable, we have a full week of activities and adventure to keep you entertained. Head out onto open water for an ocean safari, and a chance to snorkel with a massive Whale Shark! Take a kayak across Flamingo bay and lunch on an island with the chief. This week will have you wishing you never had to go home… but then again, your only half way through your adventure!
Your second month begins with a glimpse into one of most vibrant townships of South Africa, Soweto! A day tour into this famous and historic neighbourhood will leave you wanting more, but you have a flight to catch!
Off to the airport for a short flight to the most southern tip of Africa, for an adventure in the Mother City of Cape Town. Cape Town is full of activities, history, and places to see! Take a hike up Table Mountain, for a 360 view, visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, or take a walk around on of the many craft markets for some souvenir shopping!
After a few days of exploration, your journey will start to go north, up the world famous Garden Route on and epic road trip. You will stop along some of the most beautiful beaches in Africa, meet some amazing locals, and spend some time with wildlife along the way. Each stop along the route will include a new adventure to take part in, such as canoeing in wilderness, a game drive in Addo Elephant Park and seeing the magnificent formations of the Cango Caves.
When you return to Cape Town, you will have the opportunity to unwind, by volunteering with our social projects in beautiful Hout Bay. The Townships in this area offer a whole new experience, people to meet and friends to make.
This is truly a one of a kind adventure, reserved for those who love to explore! We are excited to offer this new itinerary to kick off 2018 with a bang.
